Loca-Ski SAS, Pau RCS B 883 589 301, Résidence Pescamou, 64570 Arette (hereinafter "the Lessor").
Confirming any booking, or taking out a rental in store, implies the Customer's unreserved acceptance of these general terms and conditions.
Equipment is presented by category, with no guarantee of a specific model. Equipment listed online or in store is given for guidance only and has no contractual value.
Online bookings. Bookings are made via Skilou (skilouresa.com), available 24/7. For a booking made the day before arrival, orders received after 5pm (French time) are registered as prepaid, but are not prepared for immediate collection.
Rental start. The rental begins as soon as the Customer collects the equipment in store.
Credit card imprint. A credit card imprint is requested from the Customer when collecting the equipment in store.
Equipment return. The rental ends when the equipment is returned in full to that same store.
Equipment condition. All rented equipment is acknowledged as being collected in good condition, and must be returned in the same condition. Any numbered or marked equipment must be returned with the same number and the same mark.
Reservations about condition. Any reservations about the condition of the equipment must be reported at the time of collection, so that any anomalies can be taken into account when it is handed over.
The duration is agreed at the time of booking, online or in store. Any extension must be expressly accepted by the Lessor, and incurs additional charges.
Rates. Rates vary according to the equipment category and the booking date. A day that has begun is charged as a full day.
Online payment. Payment is made by credit card via Skilou, with confirmation by email.
In-store payment. Cash, cheques, ANCV vouchers or credit card.
A credit card imprint is required for every rental, and is cancelled once the equipment is returned in good condition.
The Customer undertakes to use the equipment carefully, without endangering others, and in accordance with current regulations.
Any modification carried out by the Customer themselves, or by a third party, without the store's involvement, releases the Lessor from any liability for damage that modification might cause.
If the equipment is damaged, the Customer undertakes to pay for repairs based on the invoice or quote presented to them, in addition to the rental cost. The rented equipment remains in the Customer's keeping, who bears full responsibility for it.
In the event of loss, theft or breakage, the equipment is charged at cost price excluding tax, adjusted according to the age or condition of the equipment (see the table in Article 9.2).
9.1 Customer civil liability. The Customer is liable for any damage, unless they have taken out Breakage/Theft cover. In the event of hidden defects or non-apparent wear, the Customer is not held liable, provided they can prove it.
